How we Work

PL@N:IT utilise a fully integrated client and candidate database system that runs on a networked Windows desktop providing all of our staff with accurate and up to date contractor and client information. We currently have 20,000 + active candidates on the database and access to several online databases by subscription with an even spread of skills covering the following areas:

• Helpdesk, PC Support, Infrastructure Support, LAN Support.
• Data centre, Operations, Operations analysis, Systems programmers.
• Applications development across all platforms from PC to Mainframe.
• Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Project & Departmental Management.
• Networking & Communications, both Voice and Data.

All client vacancies and CVs despatched are logged and recorded on our computer system allowing any consultant to deal efficiently with an enquiry should the relevant account manager not be available. All CVs are sent to the client in exactly the same format that they are received, we believe that this is important as it gives our clients the chance to see what the candidate can produce, not a contrived CV that has been pre-formatted by the agency.

Candidates are found using a variety of sources:

• Our in-house database - Our database currently contains approximately twenty thousand candidates covering every area of the IT market. We are able to complete searches based on various details, most frequently for job skills and location.
• Two extensive online databases - We have access to two further databases with the combined capacity of around 1000 000 candidates across the country.
• Advertising - We post the majority of our job advertisements ( unless requested otherwise by the client) on the World Wide Web via our own site ( live vacancies)and on seven different recruitment sites such as Planet Recruit and CW jobs.

We do not forget the legacy systems either. We operate an entirely open book policy and a sliding scale discount for contract to permanent conversions.
