Our Standards

We maintain the highest standards both professionally and ethically. We continually look to enhance and improve our internal systems and procedures, to provide our customers with a quality service.

PL@N:IT is a member of REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and the Federation of Small Businesses. This means that we have a specific code of conduct to follow. This code entails that we comply to general employment and contractual regulations, as well as rules on our advertising, duties towards permanent candidates and contractors. Finally, this code outlines the detailed complaint procedure that needs to be followed.

We operate an equal opportunities policy and have strict procedures and guidelines in place in respect of race and equality.

PL@N:IT procedure

To ensure quality and continuity of service PL@N:IT adopts a standard procedure for all requirements received.

  1. Acknowledge receipt of new vacancy with correct contact at client site and qualify all technical and other specific details.
  2. Selection of candidate - this is done via a database search by the relevant resourcer and overseen by the account manager to ensure relevant and accurate information is relayed to potential candidates.
  3. Referencing / screening - on meeting the technical criteria the candidates are referenced with at least two previous clients both on a technical and personal basis. On request of the client pre interview technical screening can be done either face to face or by means of questionnaire.
  4. Submission of CVs - a maximum of 4 CVs per vacancy are submitted by either e-mail or fax. Our expected ratio for quality supply is 4CVs = 2-3 interviews = 1 offer made and accepted.
  5. Arrange interviews - all interviews are confirmed by email with both the client and the contractor ensuring both parties are aware of all arrangements and the contractor is briefed with all the necessary information.
  6. Interview follow-up - ascertain client and candidate reaction following interview and proceed with an offer where applicable and after successful negotiation of rates/salary unless previously discussed.
  7. Signing up documentation - upon successful negotiations send out or deliver in person the necessary documentation to ensure the services of the contractor or permanent candidate are secured.
